CALL Advantages

I found these advantages of CALL programs that in my point of view are good:

According to the article, some programs are very imaginative in the way text is presented, making use of colour to highlight grammatical features and movement to illustrate points of syntax. And for me, this is a very useful web tool because the grammar rules of any language are complicated so these tools can help students to understand them in an easy way.

In any process of learning a subject, the feedback is essential since students can realize what are their errors. In CALL programs error analysis and feedback are a common feature. Using the more sophisticated programs CALL analyzes the learner’s errors, responding questions, providing remedial activities in order to encourage students their language learning.

CALL authoring programs offer a do-it-yourself approach to CALL. Modern CALL authoring programs are designed to be used by language teachers who have no knowledge of computer programming.

An increasing number of professional associations devoted to CALL are emerging worldwide.
